My encounter with Chloé, Yoga Teacher, certified by Yoga Alliance,
Today, I would like to share a different perspective on Yoga, as taught by Chloé, in her Loft studio in Uzès.
When asked: What characterizes your practice, your teaching, and your vision of yoga as you offer it?
“I love helping people rediscover the pleasure of inhabiting their bodies. Well-being and letting go to reconnect, regardless of physical shape, age, or form. I propose a balance between breathwork and postures. Fluidity and lightness, without competition or a finish line. Stretching and relaxing are my priorities.”
Chloé has been practicing for 30 years and teaching for 14 years after an unconventional journey. With a master’s degree in philosophy and sociology from the Sorbonne, a career in retail, the pharmaceutical industry, and consulting, she decided to spend six months in California, where yoga became her anchor. She then arrived in Uzès and opened her “Yoga Loft” studio in 2024.
With ease and simplicity, and to get to know Chloé better, I asked her three questions: If you were a color, a season, and a song, what would they be?
“All colors are essential to life, like those on an artist’s canvas. I would be summer, for its sun that warms hearts and its light that opens the day like hope. For the song, I would be one that makes you want to sing, dance, and laugh.”
